I Really Wish You
Knew Me
I Really Wish You Knew Me is a work in development, a mini musical response to the content gathered from people with lived experience of homelessness and addiction at the Resting and Hygiene centres in Hamilton during the pandemic closures.
I asked people I met what they wished other people knew about them. We all have dreams and desires and fears. If you can recognize that my dreams, desires and fears might be similar to your own, then maybe there is hope that we might discover our common humanity.
Don't worry some of it is funny. You can expect some heartfelt songs interspersed with humorous commercial breaks.
