Show Home

An exploration into congregate living by people with disabilities and the professionals who support them.

Show Home brings you into a day-in-the-life of people with disabilities living in congregate care and the people who support them.

From 2022-2024, Open Heart artists collaborated with core members and staff from L’Arche Hamilton, Mainstream Niagara, Adults in Motion and other support organizations to explore our ideas of home and our collective vision for a better world. Drawing from these conversations, storyteller and Direct Support Worker, Carlyn Rhamey, has created Show Home, a work-in-progress performance that pokes a little fun at the way things are and imagines the possibilities of the way things could be.
